In case you’ve been wondering what happened to the super rare Albino Crab our fisherman pulled us this summer, this story is for you.
Given the chances of pulling up an Albino Crab is something like one in eight million, we knew we had to do something special with it. So we made some calls to some of our marine conservation friends and colleges and they recommended that we call some aquariums to see if they might be interested in it. And sure enough, they were very excited and interested.
We dropped off the Albino Crab at the local aquarium, The Marine Life Center, that aims to “introduce visitors to all the marine creatures in Salish Sea and instill a love for the marine animals that are at home in these waters.”
So today, if you live in or around Bellingham you can stop by and see this wondrous Albino Crab and don’t forget to mention that you found out about it from Pacific Dream Seafoods.
